Ahead of time, tap the weeks you'd like on the grid to rank them — in private. When your turn comes in seniority order, the system locks in your top available choices automatically. No need to be online.

Questions
Why do I need a personal email?
Hospital and work email systems block our messages, so sign up with a personal address (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.). That way you're sure to get your sign-in links and notifications.
How does picking work — what are the rounds?
You rank the weeks you want ahead of time, and the draft resolves them in seniority order. Each round gives everyone a slice of their weeks. Between rounds it pauses — the intermission — so everyone can review the board and adjust their remaining picks. The final round fills in the rest, again by seniority.
Do I have to be online when my turn comes?
No. Rank the weeks you want ahead of time and the system locks in your top available choices automatically when seniority reaches you. If every week you ranked is already taken, the draft pauses on you and emails you to pick again — nobody gets skipped silently.
When will the draft email me?
Mostly it just fills your ranked picks for you. You'll hear from us when the draft needs you — when a round opens, or if your ranked weeks fill up and you need to pick again. Each email has a one-tap link, no password needed.
Can I change my weeks?
Weeks that are already locked in stay put, so the grid stays trustworthy for everyone behind you. You can re-rank weeks you haven't gotten yet — the intermission is the natural time to do it. For a change to a locked week, reach out to the admin.
Why does seniority decide the order?
The draft follows the group's seniority order — the same fair, fixed sequence every year. You can always see who's up next on the grid.
Are holiday weeks special?
No — holidays like July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are simply labeled on the grid so you can spot them. They're open for picks like any other week.
